When it comes to supplementation, absorption is everything.
Calcium is recognized as an important mineral for the prevention of osteoporosis as well as for the health of the central nervous system and muscles. Indeed, calcium plays an important part in calming muscles and nerves, as it does in the metabolism of the bones. Unfortunately, the calcium we swallow is not always the calcium we absorb.
