Kyolic Cholesterol Control with Lecithin (Formerly known as Formula 104) contains 300mg of Aged Garlic Extract with 190mg of Lecithin. 1.)   The 20-month aging process transforms the raw garlic from a pro-oxidant into an anti-oxidant. Anti-oxidants help to prevent the oxidation of cholesterol in the artery walls and also maintain overall cardiovascular health. 

2.)   S-allyl cysteine (SAC) is a stable, effective and safe organosulfur compound derived from garlic, which naturally increases during the aging process. SAC is both bioavailable and active in the body – as opposed to allicin which is neither active nor a marker compound in garlic products. SAC is clinically proven to provide protection against oxidation and cardiovascular disease, namely, cholesterol reduction, blood thinning and improved endothelial function. Kyolic is standardized to contain no less than 0.05% SAC by dry weight.

3.)   S-allylmercaptocysteine (SAMC) is a constituent that is unique to aged garlic extract. SAMC is a sulfur-containing compound that is produced only during the aging process and is not present in fresh raw garlic or in various garlic preparations. SAMC is a water-soluble compound that has shown an array of effects including anti-oxidative, liver-protective and anti-carcinogenic effects.

 

Each easy-to-swallow capsule of Kyolic^® Aged Garlic Extract™ Formula 104 contains 300 mg of Aged Garlic Extract™ (Allium Sativum) bulb and 190 mg of lecithin derived from organic soybean oil. Kyolic is made from organic garlic and does not contain any artificial preservatives, colours, or flavours, or milk products, wheat, yeast, sugar, or starch.

 

 

Adults take 2 capsules twice daily with a meal, or as directed by a health care practitioner.
