NOW - Sandalwood Oil - 30 Millilitre(s) -- Steam distilled from the heartwood and roots of this tall tree, Sandalwood oil is an exotic, rich oil valued for its versatile applications. Used throughout history by Buddhists, Hindus and Muslims in purification and religious ceremonies. The deep-woody scent of sandalwood intensifies when applied to the skin and clothing, often lingering for days. Aromatherapists often use this popular oil to soothe anxiety and promote relaxation and tranquility. Sandalwood should be used with prudence as this very popular tree is slowly returning from near extinction.
BATH: 5-10 drops in the bath to relax and unwindhelps with stress related concerns.
MASSAGE: Mix 2 drops with 1 tbs. carrier oil for a sensual massage. Try adding Ylang Ylang and Jasmine for an intensified effect
INHALATION: In a burner, vaporizer or diffuser add a few drops of Sandalwood for a pleasing room fragrance.
Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. If pregnant or lactating, consult your healthcare practitioner before using. Not for internal use. Natural essential oils are highly concentrated and should be used with care.
