UltraZin Zinc utilizes an innovative microencapsulation technology to enhance the absorption and bioavailability of zinc. This technology creates a phospholipid bilayer around the mineral similar to a liposome, increasing solubility and absorbability. Zinc is essential for a wide range of physiological functions, including support of the body’s defence system and tissue development. It is a constituent of over two dozen enzymes involved in metabolism, including carbonic anhydrase, which is vital to tissue respiration. Zinc also plays an important role in maintaining healthy bones, hair, nails, and skin.
Medicinal Ingredients (per capsule) Zinc (as Sucrosomial® zinc oxide complex) 30 mg Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Hypoallergenic plant cellulose, pregelatinized rice starch, sucrose esters of fatty acids, sunflower lecithin, tricalcium phosphate, rice flour, vegetarian capsule (hypromellose, water).
Adults: Take 1 capsule daily with a meal, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
