Signs Your Body May be Toxic

The practice of detoxifying your body has been around for centuries.  It requires resting, cleansing, and nourishing the body from the inside out by removing and eliminating toxins that have built up over time, and then replenishing your body with healthy nutrients. Some signs that your body may be toxic are consistent fatigue, even though you may be sleeping well.
You may not feel over stressed but yet you feel sluggish, which is a possible sign that your body is having to work extra hard for everyday functions. You may also feel tired throughout the day and find yourself more energetic in the evening and unable to settle down for sleep. Some toxins such as xenoestrogens from plastics, PCB’s and BPA’s can cause hormonal imbalances in men and women which ultimately affect mood, cause headaches & create a sensitivity to fragrances. Toxins such as aspartame and MSG can directly affect the brain leaving you feeling a bit fuzzy. Your intestines (bowels) are one of the key ways to rid the body of toxins and a good sign that you have toxic overload is chronic constipation, especially when associated with fatigue and a general feeling of being unwell.   Bad body odour, foul-smelling breath, gas, and foul-smelling stools can also indicate that your toxic overload is high and affecting both your colon and liver’s ability to eliminate toxins. Watch for unexplained muscle pain not associated with exercise or inflammatory diseases, as well as skin reactions such as an increased amount of acne, puffy eyes, eczema or psoriasis outbreaks that are not usually a problem for you.  Another sign that signals it may be time to detox is stubborn weight gain even though you are on a healthy food plan and exercise regularly as many toxins are stored in body fat.

Consider A Cleanse to Reduce Toxicity

If you think your toxic load is too high, it is important to reduce your exposure to toxins. Eating clean, organic food where possible, keeping well hydrated, and getting a sensible amount of exercise can really help. You could also do a detoxifying cleanse to help remove the excess toxins. Detoxification of your body is done through your liver, lungs, colon, kidneys, blood, skin, and lymphatic system. We find the best way to ensure healthy cleansing through all these channels is to partner up with Renew Life, a brand that specializes in healthy
cleansing and gut health.  Start with their product “First Cleanse”. It is a 15-day program formulated for easy cleansing as it gently stimulates all 7 channels of elimination.  It is not one of those cleanses that will leave you running to the washroom, it does not irritate the cleansing channels and does not contain laxatives (taking a laxative can harm the health of the colon).  Once you have finished this 14-day program, move right into the Renew Life Liver Detox.  Keep in mind that the liver is the main station to process all toxins for elimination and as you are cleansing, all those channels have to move through the liver before they leave your body.
The Renew Life Liver detox is a longer program that focuses primarily on the actions of your liver.  It not only helps to cleanse the liver, it also helps to support normal liver function, the production of hormones, enzymes, and blood sugar levels. Liver Detox also helps stimulate the liver’s production of bile, which is required to emulsify dietary fat. If you are having serious medical conditions, talk to your health care provider before you cleanse. Also keep in mind that cleansing the liver can affect fat soluble vitamins as well as medications that are normally stored in the liver.  A liver cleanse can affect their absorption and assimilation. Do not cleanse if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
